Online Instructor Job Openings

There seems to be no little confusion about the definition of the term online instructor job openings in today’s academic/economic landscape. Perhaps it would be useful to examine just how online college faculty positions have overtaken the much more traditional full time faculty position at most community colleges, state colleges and state universities. At some point in the past, the academy decided to use part time academic labor to teach core classes such as composition, introductory math and psychology. At the time, this was a boon for the schools because part time academic labor could be restrained economically by way of a variety of devices such as limiting the number of classes they could teach any given semester, refusing to provide access to group health care benefits that are a guaranteed part of full-time college faculty pay packages, and avoiding contributing to retirement accounts. The new arrangement created an entire army of adjunct faculty members who would never have the chance to earn a living wage from teaching for just one school.
